Gan ddilyn penwythnos llwyddiannus a phrysur gyda Triathlon a Phriodas yr wythnos ddiwethaf, rydym yn cynnyddu'r tempo unwaith yn rhagor gyda llawer o ddigwyddiadau mawr yn y dyddiadur dros yr wythnosau nesaf.

Bydd y penwythnos nesaf y prysuraf eto, gyda 450 o bobl yn ymweld a Plas Heli am bryd 4 cwrs ac adloniant yn y Neuadd fawr, ac ardal y llawr cyntaf. O ganlyniad mae'r paratoadau yn mynd rhagddi yn y gegin, ond byddwch yn ymwybodol y bydd y digwyddiad mawr yma yn golygu y bydd y cynnig yn y Bar a'r Bwyty, nos iau, nos wener a nos sadwrn yn wahanol i'r arferol. Ni fydd y bwyty ar agor nos iau y 6ed o Orffennaf, ond byddwn ar agor bob dydd am ginio a phaneidiau fel arfer. Bydd bwyd ar gael, ar fwydlen cyfyngedig ar y Bar nos Wener a nos Sadwrn dros gyfnod y digwyddiad mawr.

I have set this page up to use a variant of the current template for the site. Therefore the overall look and feel of the rest of the site is unaltered. My aim is to improve the readability and ueability by illustrating possible changes to the Plas Heli website template.

Currently this page has a slightly larger version of the Plas Heli logo and accompanying heading with a slightly smaller font for the telephone numbers. This means that it formats similarly on an Android tablet (in Firefox and Chrome and the Samsung default browser) as well as a Windows PC (in a variant of FireFox, Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Microsoft's Internet Explorer).

Welcome to Plas Heli:

Situated on the southern coast on the Llŷn Peninsula in North West Wales, is Plas Heli, the Welsh National Sailing Academy. Plas Heli Cyf is a Community Enterprise, Not for Profit Distribution Company with Charitable aims. Surpluses made are reinvested back into the facility for everyone's benefit.

Llŷn Peninsula enjoys its own micro climate, thanks to the influence of the Gulf Stream, resulting in milder weather, and warmer sea temperatures. The Sailing waters around Plas Heli and Pwllheli, are renowned, as world-class waters, with unrivalled views across Tremadog Bay towards Snowdonia, making it the best location for any sea-based activity. With ample parking, for boats, cars and motorhomes, and a warm Welsh welcome, Plas Heli is the perfect location for your activities and events throughout the year.

The Academy provides facilities for community use ranging from fund raising activities, to boating experiences for local school children, the provision of a training centre for local, regional and UK sailing squads and meeting rooms for community groups and clubs. These clubs include the Clwb Hwylio Ieuenctid Pwllheli a'r Cylch) The Local Youth Sailing (CHIPAC) and Clwb Hwylio Pwllheli Sailing Club (CHPSC) which is a registered Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC). Plas Heli also assist these clubs with their on-the water activities. We also provide a home and storage facility for the Rowing Club, Paddling Club and Surfing Club.

Our café, with disability access, provides a meeting place (formal and informal) for community groups, mother and toddler groups, Welsh learner groups, Merched y Wawr and for the elderly. The Catering Facilities at Plas Heli are operated by a Franchisee and are located on the first floor with spectacular sea and mountain views.

We have seven teaching class-rooms which are available for letting. These are often used by education establishments, councils, NHS and community groups.

The above is in addition to the core business of providing a venue for sailing activities ranging from training to national and international championships and events.
