1. Event Safety Management & Competitor Information
Bridge and shore personnel should have:

These are essential for situational awareness and incident response.
2. Medical Casualties & First Aid
The Event Safety Officer (ESO):

Is informed of personnel with first aid training

Must be notified immediately if an ambulance is called from the water

Is responsible for contacting external emergency services

4. Emergency Calls
External emergency calls:

Should only be made by the ESO, unless life is in grave and imminent danger.

Safety boats must inform ESO as soon as possible if they make a direct emergency call.
