Camping Pitches
Glan y Don
Motorhome, Campervan, Caravan and Camping Pitches at Plas Heli, The Welsh National Sailing Academy and Events Centre, in Pwllheli
Plas Heli, the Welsh National Sailing Academy and Events Centre, has a limited number of camper pitches on the site during events.
We have a choice of different types of camping pitches as follows:
- 24 motor home pitches, with electricity, within the Sailing Academy's Parc Heli (the main compound). Gravel hard standing with water points.
- 16 pitches on 'Cei Heli' (the quay-side), with electricity hook-ups. Gravel hard standing with water points.
- We have two grass tents area with up to 16 pitches, within 'Parc Heli' (the main compound).

These camping pitches are in high demand during events, so be sure to book early; they will be allocated on a first come basis.

All pitches are conveniently located for the Academy facilities which include Restaurant, Cafe and Bar. These are situated on the first floor of the building and enjoy spectacular sea views with the mountains of Snowdonia in the distance. Showers and Toilets are also available (Day and night during events and training camps and with a key code at other times). We also have facilities for a kettle and tea making by arrangement. Facilities
General
Plas Heli is the Welsh National Sailing Academy and Events Centre located in Pwllheli, North Wales. This is the centre of choice for major sailing events and championships. The facilities offer an ideal base to explore the glorious Llyn Peninsula and is within walking distance of the town.

Sailing, Boating, Events, Golf and Walking. All within easy walking distance of the town.
Pwllheli, a historic Market and Seaside town, is within walking distance of the facility and features a weekly Wednesday market, golf course and leisure centre.
Pwllheli is a base for exploring the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Peninsula, Snowdonia National Park and, of course, the spectacular castles.
Pwllheli, the Llŷn Peninsula and Cardigan Bay enjoys its own microclimate, thanks to the influence of the Gulf Stream, resulting in milder weather, and warmer sea temperatures.
The sailing waters around Plas Heli and Pwllheli, are renowned, as world-class waters and chosen as the sailing venue for the Manchester Olympic bids

Electric hook-ups for caravans, motothome, campervan and tents pitches, and a further un-serviced pitches. Restaurant, Café and Bar in the Plas Heli Centre with spectacular sea views with the mountains of Snowdonia in the distance.

Free fast fibre connection within the centre. We will provide access to the dedicated camping/events wifi service on your arrival.
