In a programme started in 2019, Plas Heli has undertaken major upgrades of it's safety and mark laying RIBs fleet.
The four mark laying RIBs PSC 1,2,3, and 4 have been fitted with fuel efficient and environmentally friendly Suzuki 60/70 HP engines.
Our safety boats 8 and 9 fitted with new 50hp Suzuki engines.
Safety boats PH 10 has been retubed and fitted with a new Honda 50 hp engine.
PH14, a 90HP 5.8m secondhand RIB was added to the fleet in 2025.
Today we are pleased to announce the start of a rolling programme to upgrade our hulls, and delighted with the purchase of a new Humber 5.8 m rib - PH15 which will be fitted with one of our new Suzuki engines. This rib will be tasked as a coach boat for the fast IQ foils classes for example, and as a safety boat generally. This Humber RIB is a strong seaworthy RIB and a great addition to our fleet.
