Triathlon Pwllheli 2014

In 2014, Pwllheli was proud to welcome around 170 Triathletes on a sunny Bank Holiday to what proved to be a great day all round

Arthur Connell (1:00:31) emerged triumphant for the second year running with Owain Llyr James (1:00:55) hot on his eels a mere 24 seconds to be precise!!Team “Phil n Karl” came 3^rd overall (1:02:42) and won the MTEAM prize, with Gareth Bowyer MOPEN 3^rd (1:03:04). Congratulations to Bridget Ripley winning both the overall female winner and the F50+ in a fantastic time of (1:12:44), Karen Newby (1:13:59) also doubling up with 1^st FOPEN and overall 2^nd, and Suzy Cumming in 3^rd (1:18:33). Gwynfor & Annie Williams winning the mixed team prize. John Harvey 1st M50+ (1:09:27) showing the young wiper snappers that age is no barrier by piping M16-18 winner Ifan Emyr Roberts (1:09:41) to the post. Female Team winners were “ Will Try Harder Next Time” (1:28:20).
