Overview

The Safety Documents Library contains all operational procedures, afloat and ashore protocols, safety boat resources, volunteer guidance, and event‑specific safety materials used at Plas Heli, the Welsh National Sailing Academy & Events Centre.

This library supports Race Management Teams, Safety Officers, Bridge personnel, volunteers, and event organisers. It is designed to be modular, accessible, and easy to update.

The Safety Documents Library is designed to be:

Relationship to Other Document Collections

Event Management Plan (EMP)

The EMP provides the formal governance framework for events. Safety Documents support the operational delivery of that framework.

Compliance Documents Library

Compliance Documents contain venue‑level statutory materials such as Fire Risk Assessments, policies, and licensing records.

Version Control

Safety Documents are reviewed before each major event. Updates should be logged and stored with the Duty Manager’s event records.
